My Daily Make-Up Essentials.

Hey guys!
This is just a quick insight into the products I use on a daily basis.

Now here's a break down of each product I use.

Mac Make-Up Bag.

I got this make-up bag as a Christmas gift '13. It's just the perfect size to fit into my hand bag and also big enough to contain all my essentials! Once opened (I forgot to take a pic) there is also a compartment to store all my brushes as well which came in the bag.

Maybelline - Dream Satin Liquid - #010 Ivory

Designed with an air-whipped formula, this foundation does give a air-brush finish! One pump of the nozzle give enough foundation to cover my entire face. It also lasts all day! Having quite naturally oily skin, sometimes it is difficult to find a high-street foundation that lasts. Available from Superdrug for £7.99

Maybelline - Expression Kajal Eye Liner - Black

As you can see by the wear and tear on the writing I have had this pencil a long time, as it lasts forever! It leaves a nice Matt black defined line under the eye that lasts hours! Admittedly, I do have to touch up once or twice depending on how long of a day I have had but I find this the best high-street eye liner out there that I've tried.
Available from Superdrug for £2.99

Pencil Sharpener.

Not 100% where this is from, it may have come in a stationary kit. However, I never go anywhere without this is my make-up bag. Numerous times have I gone to put the lid back on my eye liner pencil and just sheered it all off! Therefore this became part of my daily essentials and would never have my make-up bag without one!

Eyeko - Skinny Mini Liquid Eyeliner - Black

I received this in the Feb' Birchbox and have recently blogged about it. This has earned it's way into my daily make-up essentials. " For precise lines, smudge-proof colour and easy application" is the only way and best way to describe this eyeliner! It literally does as it says. Like I have said before, the application of this take 2 minutes, compared to the normal 5 - 10 minutes for other liquid eye liners! I would definitely buy this product.
Available from Eyeko for £12.00

Rimmel - Volume Flash x10 Mascara - Extreme Black - #1

Again, by the wear and tear on the tube you can see that I have had this product a long time! It just seems to last forever! I believe I have had this mascara for about 6 months, it's not dried out, clumped up or anything. I have also previously blogged about this mascara do I'm not going to say too much about it. However, I will never go a DAY without wearing this mascara even if I don't have any other make-up on.
Available from Superdrug for £5.99

Nivea - Pearly Shine - Lip balm - SPF10

I must apply this at least every 10 Min's! I love the way this feels on the lips. The colour, texture, scent, everything about this lip balm is amazing! The lip balm has a simple formula to make it safe for sensitive skin which also contains 'precious pearl' and 'silk extracts'. It keeps my lips well moisturised through out the day (even without applying it all the time), leaving my lips feeling super soft and smooth. It also leaves a light pink tint and shine on to my lips, saving costs on lip gloss and/or lipstick. Protects against UVA and UVB rays, so its perfect to take on holiday as well.
Available from Superdrug for £1.99

MAC - 2 in 1 - Blot Powder and Moisturising Powder.

I got this as part of a MAC gift set for Christmas, along with make-up featured above, and have found it brilliant. It has 2 trays, one with a light soft moisturising powder and the second tray has a colour match blot powder. Used together, it left my skin feeling light, almost felt like I had no make-up and airbrushed, even face to face with someone. It has lasted almost 2 months and being part of a gift set I'm not sure on cost and I cannot seem to find it anywhere to re-buy it! So this is literally my one hit wonder.

Well that's all for my daily essentials, what are your daily essentials?

Hi guys!
I've just pinched this of my friend's (Sophie) blog.
Just read through it and found it interesting and its a great way to get to know a person =]
Apparently, it has been floating around on beauty blogger channels on YouTube for a while.
And the same as Sophie, I do not fancy putting my self all over YouTube.
Soooo, here goes.

I have a horses head on my right hip, my daughters name (who I lost) and D.O.B / D.O.D on my left hip, my grandma's name and D.O.B & D.O.D on my left ankle and my boyfriends name and the date we got together on my right ankle. Also have a floral piece planned for the end of the month to cover my entire rib cage on the right hand side.

7) Any piercings
Yep. Both ears pierced and stretched to 12mm. Helix piercing (top of the ear) on my left ear. I had my naval (belly) done but it split a while back. I do want to get the snake bite lip piercing though...

37) Place you want to visit?
I have already been, but I would love to go back to New York to see what it looks like without the Twin Towers. I also want to go to Russia for some reason! I love snow so I'm guessing that's why...

38) The last place you were?
Hmmm, not sure what to put... So I'll just put the place's I've been today. My aunties new house, then to my aunties horse, petrol station, my own horses, then to my friend Sophies house (for a cheeky coffee), then back to my own horses, then to the Asda, back to my house, then back to Sophies to take her home and then back to mine and in bed! =] Bit long, but these are the places I were last.

Urban Veda - Radiance Exfoliating Facial Polish
Beauty Protector - Protect & Oil
Gilchrist & Soames - The London Collection Shower Gel
Eyeko - Skinny Mini Liquid Eyeliner

Life Style Extra
Green & Blacks 70% Dark Chocolate

This is my first ever Birchbox and so far I am quite impressed! There is such a variety of products within the box which has made it interesting, I will definitely continue to get this in the future! Now, heres a little breakdown of each product...

Nail Rock - Nail Glitter/Velvet
I have a big obsession with nails! I like to do my own acrylic nail (even though I may not be brilliant at it!) and I am always looking for new colours and interesting textures. I have never heard of this before today, so instantly, I tried it out!
Please ignore the terrible painting and picture quality! Like I said I'm not that good!

It does have a lot more sparkle and glam to it then the picture shows, which makes it good for that special valentines date or just to add a bit of glam to your life!
You paint the nail with the base provided and then dip the wet nail into the glitter pot, also provided! The only downside to this, is that it does take 15 - 20 mins to dry... But the finished product looks amazing!
Available from Birchbox Shop for £6.99

Urbanveda - Radiance Exfoliating Facial Polish
I've not yet tested this product personally but the reviews for it look great!
Its designed to be a gentle exfoliator which has been packed with superfruits to give you an even and youthful complexion. It has 3 botanical extracts, 4 actives and 5 bio-oils inside.
Botanical extracts - Liquorice, Papaya and Goji berry.
Actives -
Glycerine, Pumice, Tumeric and Arjuna.
Bio-oils -
Orange Patchouli Coriander Cedar Marigold.

Available from Urban Veda themselves for £8.99

Beauty Protector - Proctect & Oil
This is the exclusive launch of this product!
This is a nourishing oil for the hair to protect it against heat damage, UV ray damage and breakage. I applied a little to the ends of my dry hair after straightening, as this the area most affected, and it definitely smoothed and make my hair look shiny, rather than dry and damaged. It has a sweet, almost chocolately smell and can be used on either damp or dry hair.
Available from Birchbox for £16

Gilchrist & Soames - The London Collection Shower Gel
This shower gel smells fantastic! Infused with red tea, grape sea and milk thistle, the tea definitely sticks out in the smell of this shower gel, which I love. This shower gel has been designed to refresh and rehydrate skin, and again, not being able to test this yet, I checked the reviews and this shower gel also has had brilliant reviews! It is also a paraben-free formula!
Available from Gilchrist & Soames for £13.75

Eyeko - Skinny Mini Liquid Eyeliner
Being a MASSIVE eyeliner fan, this is the product I was most excited about and was dying to try! I LOVE THIS! It is so easy to apply without the worry of smudges and messes of typical liquid eyeliner! It just glides over the lid to create that perfect feline flick we all crave! It normally takes me about 5 - 10 mins when I do my make-up to create an even, decent looking flick, with this, I was done in less than 2 minutes! It is literally a 'foolproof' eyeliner as they describe it!
Available from Eyeko for £12

& of course, the little chocolate treat provided as a little gift! We all know how to eat chocolate and what's in it so we'll pass on that! Is there anyone else that has the Birchbox? Did you love the products as much as I did?

Tattoo Beauty.

The After Care For Tattoo's To Keep Them Looking New.

A lot of women have detailed, intricate and/or coloured tattoo's, which can fade quite easily. Being one of these women myself, sun exposure and moisturisers and just general every day wear on them, makes them start to look old and tatty. However, when I got my second tattoo, I decided to have a look for specialist creams and such to keep my tattoo looking like new.
Image taken from Walmart.
This is the starter kit that I got which contains:
1. Tattoo Goo Original
2. Tattoo Goo Deep Cleansing Soap
3. Tattoo Goo Tattoo After Care Lotion
4. Tattoo Goo Colour Guard Stick (Sun protection) SPF 30
5. Tattoo Goo 4" Sticker
6. Tattoo After Care Sheet

I LOVED this kit and definitely revived my old tattoo as well as keeping my new tattoo looking new! 2 yrs on, they still look new and I still have the Tattoo Goo Original as you don't need a lot, a little goes a long way as I now have 6 tattoo's! It was that great, I bought my partner a tin of the Tattoo Goo Original shortly after I received mine and he has also still got his!

Kit available from Walmart for $14.95 (U.S)
All products can be sold separately and can be bought from Ebay. (Worldwide)

Quicker Fuller Lashes.

Rimmel - Volume Flash x10 - Extreme Black
Personally, having a fast paced life of working 9 hrs a day and having horses, I struggled to find a mascara that gave me the fuller and thicker lashes, that I didn't have to mess around with eyelash curlers before application. I consider myself to have the 'beady eye', which basically means I have short eyelashes and not many of them, so I like a mascara that gives me, again, the fuller and thicker look. Most mascara's take 2 applications and/or the eyelash curlers before application. However, not this:
Image taken from Google Images.

With its quick bonding and gel texture, this makes this mascara excellent for my life style. As well as giving me the 'fuller & thicker' look, its quick drying which means I can be on the move quicker and the gel like texture also makes this a great waterproof type mascara! Which is great for when I get caught in those rainstorms with the horses!
Never once have I ever thought about reapplying this throughout the day, it is definitely a mascara I will use again :)
Available direct from Rimmel for £5.99 or most beauty stores for a similar price.

Blog Lovin

You can now follow my blog and lastest posts on BlogLovin!

Lush - Bubble Bar - Dorothy.

Infused with the orange flower and ylang ylang.
Welcome to the world of Lush products :)
This is a 'Dorothy Bubble Bar' and OMG, it smells FABULOUS!
As I crumbled it into to my bath, it turned my bath into a rainbow, as well as bubble galore!

When it finished melting into my bath, the gorgeous vivid blue of Dorothy turned my bath a dark shade of aquamarine! ( I love blue anyway :) ) Apparently this is a mood lifter, which definitely worked.
The ylang ylang has a sensual, sweet smell which is apparently used by aromatherapists to improve your mood, and I've got to say it made me feel fantastic as well as soooo relaxed!
Also the orange flower is meant used to lift the spirits and is a supposedly a bit of an aphrodisiac! I can say it has lifted my spirits but cannot comment on the aphrodisiac part of things!
This is definitely a Lush product that I will be using again!

Available at most Lush stores and Lush online @ £3.25
